BulTechnoTrade took part in the specialized agriculture exhibition BATA AGRO 2024 near Stara Zagora. 216 companies participated, on an area of 36 thousand square meters.

On May 13, at the former Stara Zagora airport, began the sixteenth edition of the Specialized Agriculture Exhibition BATA AGRO, which is organized by the Bulgarian Association of Traders of Agromachinery. The Innovation, Technology and Business Meetings Forum was held between May 13 -17.

The official opening was attended by the Acting Minister of Agriculture Georgi Tahov, the Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora Radostin Tanev, the Regional Governor of Stara Zagora Iva Radeva, as well as representatives from the state and local administration.

The event began with a solemn water lighting, and all officials and guests of the event were greeted with a performance by the Children’s Folklore Ensemble “Zagorche”.

Traditionally, participants in the exhibition are the official importers of the world-famous agricultural machinery brands, as well as dozens of companies from the agricultural sector, offering irrigation systems, seeds, fertilizers, spare parts, tools and others. In addition, companies for consulting services, financial and banking institutions, the automotive industry, large construction equipment and others took part.

There were also dozens of foreign companies exhibiting at BATA AGRO, among them the countries of Poland, Argentina and Ukraine, which participated with collective stands. The full business profile, presentation and contacts of exhibitors is available in the electronic catalog on the forum’s website.

Demonstrations of machines – self-propelled and trailed equipment, sprayers, drones and precision technologies – are taking place within the framework of the agricultural forum again this year. Farmers had the opportunity to take a test drive and see live the action of the machines in the field.

For another year, BATA AGRO gave Bulgarian producers the opportunity to present their quality products within the framework of the farmer’s market, organized together with “Hrankoop” Cooperative. It featured producers of seasonal fruits and vegetables, dairy and meat products, wine, honey and bee products, herbs and spices, artisan baked goods and many others.

Visiting the exhibition was free, but with registration – on the spot or in advance on the BATA AGRO website. The working hours were from 09:00 to 18:00, and only on the last day, May 17, it was until 14:00.
