The program of our delegation in Antalya is full of meetings, presentations and new partnerships

The program of the trade mission in Antalya, organized by the BTCC, was successfully completed with 142 bilateral meetings and visits to production factories.

On the last day of the program, the Bulgarian companies held meetings with over 32 Turkish companies from the Antalya Industrial Zone /AOSB/ from the mechanical engineering, woodworking, furniture production, construction, etc. sectors.

Tsvetan Simeonov, Chairman of the BCCI, and Miroslava Markova, Chief Expert “International Cooperation and International Organizations” in the BCCI, held meetings with Turkish companies that wish to find partners on the Bulgarian market in the areas of: production of chemical fertilizers, furniture production, billiards tables, industrial doors, lighting fixtures, tunnel construction, etc. Simeonov introduced the Turkish companies to the Chamber’s voluntary commercial register, the possibilities for opening a commercial representative office in Bulgaria, business climate and tax policy in the country.

After the meetings, the BCCI representatives visited a modern enterprise for the production of packaging – YASATAN, where they learned about the investments made in equipment and digitalization of the process. The company supplies packaging to most of the fast food chains throughout Turkey, as well as 20 more countries from the Middle East, Europe, etc.

An upcoming visit of representatives of Industrial Zone Antalya to Sofia in the fall of this year was discussed, as well as the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the BCCI and AOSB.
